The Blog: Coach Class is a blog devoted to budget travel and travel news. It’s been around since 2007, and was initially hosted on courant.com, The Hartford Courant’s Web site.

The Author: Jeanne Leblanc is a regional editor for Patch, and a Web consultant. She has written travel stories for newspapers around the country. She lives in central Connecticut and is a partner in the Digital Media Cooperative.
