The Blog: Coach Class is a blog devoted to budget travel and travel news. It’s been around since 2007, and was initially hosted on courant.com, The Hartford Courant’s Web site.

The Author: Jeanne Leblanc is an editor, writer, Web consultant and student of Spanish literature. She has written travel stories for newspapers around the country. She is the former online editor of The Hartford Courant, and lives in central Connecticut. She is a partner in the Digital Media Cooperative.
