I’m in some kind of deep mess right now.I came down here to London,England for a short Vacation, got mugged at gun point last night at the park of the hotel where i lodged. All cash, credit cards and cell were stolen,I went to the U.S embassy and the Police here to report but they’re not helping issues at all,My flight leaves today and I’m having problems settling the hotel bills.

The hotel manager won’t let me leave until i settle the hotel bills(1,850pounds) now am freaked out !! Please reply and let me know if you can help get the money wire to me through western union to my present location here in England.I promise to pay back as soon as i get back home.I will be waiting for your quick reply as this is

very urgent.

It’s signed by a former colleague and appears to come from her email account. Except she’s a copy editor with a very strong grip on English grammar, including capitalization and punctuation.
