New York, New York In Las Vegas: $55

New York, New York on The Strip in Las Vegas has rooms at $55 a night on limited dates through the end of the year.

The hotel is advertising this rate at $42, but that doesn’t include the mandatory (so-called) resort fee of $13 a night. So let’s call it $55. Because that’s what it is.

The ever-increasing room tax in Las Vegas brings the total to $60.

This rate includes some two-for-one dining and entertainment discounts and two spa passes, per stay not per day. Still, it’s a good deal for this mid-level property on The Strip.

Availability is quite spotty, but the rate is offered during a stretch from June 27 to July 1 and another from July 25 to July 28. Ask for a room far from the rollercoaster. I hear that thing is noisy.
