Walt Disney World in Orlando is offering rates as low as $62 a night (which rises to $69.75 with the rather hefty 12.5 percent room tax) on its least expensive hotels.
The special rates reflect discounts of between 25 percent and 45 percent, depending on the level of hotel chosen and the length of stay. They’re available, with some restrictions, through March 27 and between April 11 and June 3. You must book by March 27.
Disney has more details here.
The discounted rates for the moderate level Port Orleans resort — my favorite — is $119 plus tax for a total of $134 a night.
Those aren’t bad rates for staying on a Disney property, which offers access to the park transportation system and extended theme park hours. Also, the themed pools are lots of fun.
