Visit Denmark And Get Laid?

A rather strange video in which a young Danish woman purports to seek the foreign visitor who impregnated her has been pulled from YouTube by Denmark’s tourism agency, Britain’s Telegraph reports. This is the kind of thing that reminds us that Europeans think of sex differently than Americans generally do. Those considerations aside, though, it’s still a very weird video.

Southwest Launches Sale

Southwest has a new three-day sale. OK, make that a two-day sale because I missed the first day. I might have missed all three days if the Airfarewatchdog Blog not pulled me out of my stupor, as it so often does.

You must book by midnight Thursday for travel between Sept. 29 and Dec. 17 excluding, of course, the Thanksgiving holiday. Sample fares from Bradley include $49 each way to Baltimore and $122 each way to Fort Lauderdale. Nothing to Las Vegas or the West Coast, though.

The quoted fares don’t include taxes and fees, so the $49 Baltimore fare comes out to a total of $119, round trip. I’ve seen better from Southwest — I’m going to Baltimore for $20 less, round trip, next week on fares I bought in the previous sale. But availability looks pretty good this time around. The lowest fares seem to be available most days, though often on only the earliest and latest flights of the day.
