• Non-Rev Passenger Behaving Badly?

Southwest Airlines is suspending an agreement that allows FedEx employees to fly free on Southwest. The story out on the Web is that the very large passenger who punched a woman in the face and stripped naked, forcing a Southwest flight to return to Oakland last month, was flying on a non-rev FedEx pass.

Airline employees flying standby for free on their own or other airlines — non-revs in the parlance of the trade — are expected to dress well and behave well. This guy apparently struck out on both counts.
