Albuquerque, Home Of The Emergency Landing

A U.S. Airways flight with an unspecified medical emergency and a naked passenger made an emergency landing today at Albuquerque International Airport.

What I’m wondering, of course, is why is it always Albuquerque? I was once on a Delta flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles and when a passenger appeared to be having a heart attack we landed in, of course, Albuquerque.

Medical emergencies, mechanical problems, naked dudes — seems like it’s always Albuquerque. Go ahead, do it: Google “emergency landing” and Albuquerque.

Nice town, really. I even went there on purpose once.
