The reconstruction of Bradley International’s main runway will begin the week of April 12, reports Harlan Levy in the Journal Inquirer. The $16 million project involves repaving the main runway, which is nearly 2 miles long, and making improvements to drainage and lighting. The work is scheduled to be finished by June 22. Meanwhile, commercial jets will use a secondary runway. That runway is in line for $8 million in stimulus money for reconstruction, the JI reports.
