Things My Mother Taught Me About Travel Laundry

I have pontificated before about the art of doing laundry while travelling, but it turns out that there’s always more to learn.

I’m travelling with my parents right now, and my mother has reminded me of three ways to dry small articles of clothing, especially underwear:

1. iron them
2. hang them on the coils on the back of a refrigerator
3. hair dryer

Since I don’t travel with an iron, refrigerator or hair dryer, I rely on what the hotel might supply.

Oh — and only option No. 3 is recommended for drying oneself in the event of a towel shortage.
