Free Wi-Fi In Vermont

wifi.jpgJust a few minutes ago we were tooling up I-91 in the Subaru when I saw a sign for a rest area with a little sign tacked onto the bottom: WiFi.

Woo-hoo. Seems Vermont has free WiFi at some of its rest areas, and it’s a pretty good connection, too.

 I always thought Vermont had lovely rest areas, but now I want to move in. This particular rest area – actually a full-blown “welcome center” — in Guilford, Vt., has nice, clean restrooms, an art gallery, an extensive flower garden and a walking trail with old farm machinery, a former ski-lift gondola and other fun artifacts thrown in.
