Just ran across a fun story from the Dallas Morning News about living aboard a cruise ship.
The writer estimates it will cost you somewhere between $45,625 and $179,884 a year to live on a mass-market cruise ship, just booking back-to-back trips. If you want to own a pied-a-mer on one of those fancy new residential cruise ships, plan to spend millions – plus a massive annual maintenance fee.
This may, in fact, be my husband’s retirement plan. But I’m wondering what’s to do after you’ve seen the same variety show 52 times, mastered ice sculpture carving, bought all the tanzanite jewelry on the planet and and won the belly-flop contest 320 times.
